I am glad that you have stopped by. Explore, have fun and learn more about my books, workshops and my very special play Emma's House of Sound.
When people ask me about my philosophy of life I often say,"I think of life as a jelly donut. You don't know what to expect until the first bite and then jelly spills all over my blouse. This is how I see life. Learn from your mistakes and then create ways in which to deal with it. The The first bite helps me to discover the way in which to eat my next donut; either eat it differently or find a way to deal with the mess."  This philosophy of life lead me to my passion, writing books for children. The characters in my books have come alive in order to help children to be happy healthy individuals.

My books aim to sensitize children to life's issues, such as bullying, disabilities and to  learning to eat healthy foods for a lifetime of good health. All of my characters have been inspired by conversation with children that I have known over the years. 
"Life is one big canvas," I learned to learned to tell stories with my crayons before I learned to read. My love of the arts, music, writing, storytelling, drawing and painting has led me on an amazing life adventure.
